David S. Reed is a public administration expert and the founder of Center for Public Administrators. He was formerly a civil servant in the United States government. He is the author of scholarly and general-audience publications, serves as a peer reviewer for journals, and is an Associate Editor of the journal Public Integrity. He is a conference speaker and guest lecturer, and received the 2023 Best Practitioner Paper Award from the Northeast Conference on Public Administration and the 2024 Larkin Dudley Award from the American Society for Public Administration. He holds a Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School.
